The British maritime security service United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations reported that over the weekend it received information about at least two tankers that were struck in waters near Oman and Iran. On Saturday, the service received a report that an oil tanker had been hit by an unknown projectile four nautical miles east of Oman.[2]
