A married couple in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, reported a daylight UAP sighting to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) on August 14, 2026, according to KEZJ (2026).
The incident report, identified as #200185, includes cellphone footage of a “very large” object hovering over a tree line in daylight (KEZJ, 2026).
The witnesses described the object as rectangular in shape and emitting multiple colors of light, with blinking lights visible from two different sides of the craft (KEZJ, 2026).

2. Pentagon: Scientists Analyze 112 PURSUE Videos
Since May 8, 2026, the U.S. Department of War has released more than 100 videos reportedly capturing unknown objects in U.S. airspace and near American military operations around the world, according to The Debrief (2026).

Prolonged UAP uncertainty can turn curiosity into powerlessness, anger, and mistrust, and information gaps make false narratives and confident claims more appealing (Psychology Today, 2026).
