The Pentagon has instructed the US central command (CENTCOM) to complete preparations for a possible resumption of major combat operations against Iran. US President Donald Trump has not made a final decision yet on whether to launch fresh strikes, Axios reported, citing US officials.[1]

British maritime agency has recently reported a rise in attacks on vessels in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. A number of casualties have been reported after a tanker sailing off the north coast of Qatar was struck by multiple projectiles, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency has announced.[2]
