The British Geological Survey assessed the CMEs as a possible glancing blow and forecast G2-level activity for Aug. 28-29 (IBTimes, 2026). Conditions are expected to trend quieter on Aug. 30-31, and a G1-G2 storm does not guarantee aurora visibility (IBTimes, 2026).
