A juvenile boy is in custody in connection with a shooting at an Alabama Waffle House that left four people injured Friday night. Gadsden Mayor Craig Ford said Sunday that the suspect, accompanied by his attorney, surrendered to police. Authorities have not released the boy’s name or a possible motive. (MSN)
2. ICE: Five-Year-Old Sent to Dilley Detention Center With Father After ICE Stop in Austin
A 5-year-old boy and his father were detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Austin on Sunday, Aug. 16, according to a GoFundMe post from the family. The child was sent to the Dilley detention center along with his dad. ICE has not publicly commented on the case. (MSN)
